What better way to celebrate the winter season than with Star Wars snowflakes? I found these awesome patterns online from Anthony Herrera Designs, they’re really creative and quite detailed. Best displayed on windows and glass doors!
I carefully cut these out right before the winter season and put them up on the window as a pretty awesome decoration. I made a total of 18, it was very time consuming because of all the small details to cut out. The first couple I tried just using scissors, but then I found it to be much easier with a exact-o craft knife. Of course, you have to do it on a cutting board and not anything you want cut up. It’s a mess too with all the little paper scraps, but I think it was worth it.
They are pretty delicate so I carefully laminated each one and cut them into nice shapes. If you laminate them like I did you can re-use them as decorations each winter. My favorite is probably the ‘AT-ST’ with the trees and small Ewoks. It was one of the more complicated that I spent a lot of time on and I think it turned out great. A few weren’t as good, especially the ones I started with.
So make your own Star Wars snowflakes, they make great presents too!!
