First year students at Hogwarts require supplies to start. Each student may bring an Owl, Cat, Rat, or Toad. Owls are a fine choice, as they are very special creatures. So It’s important to adopt one!
In this adoption kit, there is a cage, adoption certificate, bedding for the bottom of the cage, and of course an owl! I got the owl and cage from Amazon. They have several you can choose from, but any plush owl you love will do. Just make sure when getting a cage that the owl will fit inside!

This can be printed on parchment colored/styled paper or regular paper that you can then age yourself. I used regular thick paper. Then you can use a very thinned down by water acrylic paint to make it look more like parchment. I just trimmed it down to a size that made me happy.
I gathered some supplies to put my cage together into a comfortable nest for a special owl. Because my cage was a tea candle holder the bottom was open! That would not be ideal for holding in my bedding so I made a bottom for it.
After I glued the bottom onto the cage I used more hot glue and pressed in enough bedding to cover the candle holder further and have the look I was going for.
This kit is very easy to put together, can be big or small, and for yourself or as a gift for someone else. Take care of your owl!
