“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, when one only remembers to turn on the light.” – Albus Dumbledore
Adding a perfect touch to my Wizarding World project is this light switch cover that was super easy to make.

You start by getting a wooden light switch cover from the hardware store, they actually sell unfinished ones that are perfect for painting.

I also bought some vinyl decal stickers on Amazon for the lettering. You can paint the lettering yourself as well but I found this to be easier.

I decided to do a metallic paint gradient with acrylic paint. My walls are gray so I decided to go with a silver to darker metallic metal. I painted the entire thing silver and then worked up the gradient gradually. I finished it with a little acrylic varnish. Once completely dry I carefully applied the stickers and done!
