Deathly Hallows Flower Painting

Like any Wizarding World fan, I love the Deathly Hallows. I wanted to make my own Deathly Hallows artwork, using a few different techniques in my favorite colors and aesthetic.

I decided to use a canvas, I primarily used spray paint and acrylic paint so it was the right choice. Plus, easy to hang. I just had to choose my favorite colors, and I wanted it to give off that magical feeling so I sprayed the background.

Once I had my painted canvas I found some artificial flowers with colors that I think accent it well. I also found some nice moss that will help round out the flower application. I decided to do the symbol and edge of the canvas in a nice metallic silver.

I started off by carefully transferring the Deathly Hallows symbol to the canvas. I used a silver paint pen so that my lines were really straight. It also saves time and you have a better chance of accuracy.

Once all dry I took some time to arranged the flowers exactly how I wanted them then glued them down onto the canvas carefully with hot glue. I used the moss to cover any awkward spots or spots where there was visible glue and then placed it around where I liked to make it look really pretty. I took some of the silver paint and accented some of the petals and the insides of the flowers. It’s not super noticeable but I think it’s a nice touch to make it look a little fancier.

Now it's done and ready for the wall! The silver gives it a bit of a mystical look but any color scheme would be great with this type of design. You can also add crystals, different flowers, whatever you’d like to make it your own style. Try it!
