Cryptid Wreath

I adore all things cryptids. Why not make a wreath for my door to represent my love to the world? I went with a more simple and natural style to make it woodsy.

First, I gathered supplies I would need. A ‘blank’ wreath, natural wood slices, pinecones, and assorted artificial plants. I used hot glue to assemble it all together.

I laid out the wood slices on the blank wreath to make sure they all fit right. Leftover wood slices can be used for something else fun in the future.

I made some really simple silhouettes of a few of my favorite cryptids: Bigfoot, Flatwoods Monster, Nessie, Mothman, Jackalope, and a UFO.

Once I knew where the wood slices would go, I first glued on the artificial plants around the wreath where they kind of flowed. I glued the cryptid wood slices on and then added pinecones, both of these do a good job of covering glue spots from the plants.
