I’ve always wanted a Bigfoot track cast which inspired these fun cryptid magnets. The idea is that it’s a plaster track of a Bigfoot, but small enough to put on your fridge!
I started out with small wood blanks and air-dry clay.
I molded a shape and toes on the piece of wood. I also made sure to add creases for the footprint. Then I let the clay dry according to the instructions.
Once it was dried, this was the tricky part! I carefully took the foot pad and glued it to the wood with E6000 adhesive glue. Then put each toe on, using a tweezers to get them in the right spots. Then, once the glue dries, I painted the entire thing with several coats of white acrylic paint.
I added some gray shadows and swirls to make it look kind of like plaster stone. The fun thing is that each foot print can be different and there really isn’t a wrong answer.
